The Raven

My first piece of regalia I made for myself with
the help of two of my aunties. The formline
design depicts a Raven, to represent my clan the
Ganaaxteidi people. Made of hide, melton,
ermine, shells, fur. As you can see, the shape of
the button blanket differs from a regular
square-shape button blanket, and is an ode to
the dance shawls seen on the regalia on my
metis-cree side of the family.
