Inspired by the colors of the Midnight Sun while I
worked along the Yukon River, these summer
earrings look like the eyes of an Owl. People tell
stories of how owls are a bad omen if seen out at
camp, but I interpreted this as something
omniscient. The Owl Eyes see all. The blue
beaded fringes represent the river, and tears
coming out of the eyes.
